The story

Aeternum began with a question from a five-year-old. Our founder, Aaron Tong, was reading his daughter a bedtime story when she asked him to tell one about his own childhood instead. He did — and then suggested that one day she could tell his story to her own children.
Her answer was the reason this company exists:"Okay, but what if I don't remember your story when I grow up?"
It landed as something closer to dread than sentiment. A person's life, memories and values could simply be gone, as if none of it had ever existed. Aeternum was built so that would not have to be true: a digital time capsule that records and passes down memories, messages, traditions and values, so a family's legacy propagates from one generation to the next instead of quietly ending.
